College Students Flock to Delray Beach, Not for Typical Spring Break

Spring break for some students will not consist of the beach and sipping drinks poolside.  Instead, college students from two colleges - Juniata College in Huntingdon, Pa., and Trinity College in Hartford, Conn. - will help build homes in Delray Beach. The Delray Beach moving company, DeVries Moving and Storage Solutions, wants to thank the volunteers for improving the lives of fellow community members.

The prospective homeowners must put in 500 hours of work into their homes alongside the college students.  Homes are also being built in Boynton Beach with help from Bentley University students.  All together during the Collegiate Challenge, March 5-23, the students will contribute 3,600 hours with their work estimated at $78,000. We are the Delray Beach movers that are proud of the college students work and their positive impact on the beach community.
